If you’re like me, you probably have a million social media accounts that you use for different things. Maybe you have a Facebook account that you keep limited to only close friends and family. But you use your Twitter account to chat with everyone, from your next door neighbor to your favorite porn star.
But do you use social media to promote your adult entertainer business? A couple of weeks ago we looked into Facebook and escorts. Today, let’s dig into Twitter.
Can You Use Twitter to Promote Your Escort Business?
Twitter is pretty open to adult entertainers using their service. In fact, we at Escort Design have our own Twitter page — give us a shout out @escortdesign. If we take a close look at their terms, nudity or images of a sexual nature aren’t prohibited on Twitter, but there are a few rules:
Pornography: You may not use obscene or pornographic images in either your profile photo, header photo, or user background.
Well, that’s pretty easy to follow. Go ahead and tweet the best shots from your latest photo shoot or talk about how hot it was at the club last night, just keep your private bits off your profile photo, header photo, or user background.
Similarly to Facebook, just keep in mind that you can’t promote anything illegal on your page or in your tweets. So if you provide services that may not be considered legal, don’t promote them on Twitter.
Unlawful Use: You may not use our service for any unlawful purposes or in furtherance of illegal activities. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
How to Use Twitter to Promote Your Escort Business
Like with any social media account, Twitter is an awesome way to give admirers and potential clients greater insights into your services and your personality. It can also be a great way to network with others in the same business. Follow other entertainers, especially ones in your area. Potential clients may find you through them.
Tweet often, but don’t bore your admirers with mundane details. Fun daily posts will make sure your tweets show up in your admirers’ feeds on a regular basis, but you should always make sure you’re saying something interesting, otherwise they’ll just be ignored. (No one wants to hear what you had for breakfast!)
And as always, we have to remind you about the link love! Link to your adult entertainer website from your Twitter profile to get some more links going to your site. Having a Twitter profile tied to your stage name will also be another way for potential clients to find you in Google searches.
